    Sudden crackling sound through headphones

Earlier this afternoon I took my PC case apart and blew out the dust using canned air spray since I hadn't done that in a while. (I unplugged the PC before doing this). After I was done I put the side of the case back on, plugged the PC back in, booted it up and started watching a video on YouTube. I suddenly noticed a crackling sound coming through the headphones, (specifically the left ear). I wondered if it was the cable since I replaced it about 2 weeks ago, so I grabbed a different set of headphones to test it, but heard the same crackling. I've tried numerous things to solve this but haven't had any luck.

Things I've tried so far, to no avail:

    1. Updating the driver. (It's up-to-date as far as I can tell). See below.

    Audio Driver Version: 6.3.9600.2342
    UI Version: 1.39.279.0

    2.) Testing other headphones.
3.) Tried using a different web browser for playback.
4.) Tested playing an mp3 on my hard drive in case the problem was web based.
5.) Using System Restore from a couple of days ago.

    PC Specs:
    -11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900K
-ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI (built-in audio: Realtek USB)
    -Windows 10 Home 64-bit version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4170)

I had no issues prior to blowing out the dust. Could it be that the moisture in the can damaged something?

Update from the next day: The problem resolved itself. I think some moisture from the can of air may have damaged something, and now that the computer had a chance to totally dry out overnight the crackling has gone completely. This is only a guess, but I don't know what else it could be. I'll close the thread and mark it answered.
