Every time i restart or turn off the pc, and when i start it again, my headset audio is disabled, and to work again, i have to remove the ps2 plug and reconnect and confirm the headset option in the realtek manager. Thanks to anyone who can help me solve this problem
What is that audio source? Realtek onboard? Discrete sound card?
If Realtek, I'm not sure. Mine always favors front out/headphone and mutes rear out if headphone is plugged in to front, with no option to switch it to rear out at all. Annoying as heck.
If Realtek, look for something like (I use HDA driver, UAD may vary?) Connector Settings > Disable front panel jack detection...try that? I get to it from that "folder icon/button" at the upper, right of the popup in the pic.
