That Microphone Array thing looks sketchy as eff with the Asian characters. I'm thinking improper/bad drivers are installed. I am assuming "Droidcam" is a built in webcam and mic, and that is the mic you are using? Or is Mic Array part of the Realtek onboard package and it is that one you want? First thing I would do is make sure you have proper audio drivers (includes Mic usually).

One other thing to check, that I doubt will be the problem unless you changed it at some point, but just in case. In Settings > Privacy > Microphone, make sure it is not disabled there.

Hmm, as 1st line of Quexos' post. That shouldn't have been the result.

Suggest you have 2 options to try to get it to boot again.
    a. Restore a previously created 3rd party disk image. (The routine and regular use of disk imaging is endlessly recommended here to help you recover to a previous (hopefully good) state.

I'm guessing you haven't started doing that.

    b. Try an off-line System Restore. E.g. boot your PC from a Win 10 install disk and, via Repair your Computer, to Advanced Startup options. (Tutorial available if unsure how).

Select command prompt and then run System Restore. You will need to know your admin password.

    System Restore Windows 10
Option 1 - click on first blue text =>
Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10
    Option 5

(You could first try Option 6 if you wish).

That also requires you have some System Restore points of course.

    Hey!
I'm trying to reboot the computer from a usb drive however an error saying "We Couldn’t Find Any Drives when installing Windows 10 or Windows 11" popped out.
I tried putting the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (iRST) in the same usb however it doesn't seem to be the right one.
It should be a Zip but only a .exe appeared.

What can I do? Really appreciate your help!

This is what came up after I searched the isssue on the internet
Due to new features available with these products, a driver is required for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (iRST). To use this driver during the installation of Windows , please use the following steps:

Download the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver.
Extract the ZIP file, and copy the extracted files on a USB drive. Connect this USB drive to the system where you are installing Windows 10.
On the page where you select the drive to use, click Load Driver.
Click Browse, and navigate to the folder on the USB drive with the previous extracted files. When you selected this folder, click OK.
Select Intel RST VMD Controller 9A08 (TGL), and click Next.
The selected driver will be loaded, and the SATA drive will become available for selection on the screen.

    Hi,
The other option (6) I suggested above does NOT need a boot drive.. have you tried that?

    ACER (from tutorial):
Boot from USB Drive on Windows 10 PC

uses a boot menu apparently.. press ESC, F12 or F9 during boot to have a boot menu display.
(Rather than setting boot priority in BIOS/UEFI).

How did you create the Win 10 bootable drive? Using the MS media creation tool?

You mention IRST. Does your PC use Intel Optane? It seems it probably does:
SF514-55TA: Acer Swift 5 Intel Optane "No Valid disk pairs in your System" — Acer Community

I have no experience of that. You could check with ACER/ACER's forum of course on how to boot from a USB disk.
Example: from Dell ... you can look for a similar guide for your ACER:
    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/e...ienware-system

@jumanji - I wonder if you could advise on booting an Optane system from a boot disk, please?

The other option (6) I suggested above does NOT need a boot drive.. have you tried that? I have been in Advanced Starup multiple times however none of them worked including the
system recovery: it says I need to pick my OS environment and choose System restore
And the repair says that it can't repair my laptop & I should try the others in the advanced system

So it seems rebooting with a usb is the only way.

How did you create the Win 10 bootable drive? Using the MS media creation tool? Yes, with MS media creation tool

    (edit)

I'm terribly sorry but how can I check if I have Intel Optane? With Bios? I only used it since it was recommended by tutorial videos

Appreciate your quick reply. Thank you so much.

how can I check if I have Intel Optane?
    - from your computer specs- e.g. when you bought it?

Optane was around until about Jan '21, which is about when your model came out.

If it is Optane-based, there would be 2 disks in it, one used for Optane acceleration.

Yes, there should be a BIOS setting.. e.g.
    intel-optane-memory

I do not think the OP has an Intel Optane in his system.Optane is used to accelerate HDD. If his system disk is an SSD there will be no need for an Optane. The SSD will be placed in the NVME slot (PCIe) where Optane would have been placed otherwise (that is if the system disk is an HDD) Atleast that is what I understand from this SF514-55TA: Acer Swift 5 Intel Optane "No Valid disk pairs in your System" — Acer Community

The Op's system specs unfortunately does not have any info on the system disk. I would think his system would be a post 2021 purchase and when Optane was discontinued Acer would have substituted an SSD in the NVME slot but still have the Optane Memory and Storage Management app . That app contains the IRST driver ( not installed seperately).

With so many ifs and buts, It would be better for the OP to take up the matter with Acer than dealing with it on his own.

Note: I hadn't booted with a Windows installation USB drive created with Media Creation Tool anytime and so cannot give any opinion on it .

Thanks- would really prefer it not be Optane... odd that resetting services to default should make it unbootable.. but then, only basics known about the state of this O/S..

Aslo noted Crystal Diskinfo reported only 1 disk, so again, as you say with that being a SSD, may be a simple single disk.

No idea what you are doing, but you did not follow what I suggested.

No good messing with services when drivers are not installed properly which includes Realtek and Microsoft(Windows Audio End Point Builder services).
The relevent services will be started by the Windows troubleshooter anyway once you have correct Realtek and Windows drivers.

See your previous posts #3 and #5 with the troubleshooting report. The services are not running/responding because of rubbish drivers.

You have got to install correct Realtek and Windows drivers. Those would have been working on a new Laptop. You have to get back to that situation.
