    Speaker no longer works...

Any ideas? I have the volume all the way up, ran through the MS troubleshooting once, if not twice.

Using Win 10 on an AMD build.

    Thanks guys.

I have tried this, and have gone through Windows' troubleshooting guide for this too. I get no sound from this speaker.

I do get sound from headphones. But, this box is only 6 months old, so I'd like to get my money's worth. And, if there's a system problem brewing, I need to know now.

    Thanks!

Is there one or two speakers and if two, presumably the other works O.K.
How is it plugged in,usb or jack ?
Have you RIGHT clicked the speaker icon, task bar-lower right and tried the options shown there ?

Sorry... it's actually the internal speaker of the machine. My headphones work. The internal speaker is not responding to anything I've tried.

    Thanks!

Sometimes it's easier to work through Control Panel.
Choose: Sound, then choose whatever speakers your sound should be coming out of, and then click on "Set Default"

This is from my desktop computer, so yours will look a bit different...

@Ghot- FYI the OP has another thread about delays handling new folder creation/deletion currently- started a few weeks ago.

I note only a desktop in the specs, but post refers to 'internal speaker' ...? So maybe 2 different PCs.

Velocity Micro - seems to be a PC builder... laptops and desktops. Specs say desktop....?

No... One workstation, specs as listed. It has an internal speaker. This speaker used to work, but it no longer does. It's a separate issue (I think??), so I made a separate post about it.

I've gone through a few troubleshooting tips I saw online, but nothing has worked thus far.

    Thanks.

Please post a screenshot simlar to this, noting as mentioned above, which your default device is (Ghot posted a similar one - shows how to do it).

Also post the URL for the drivers and utilities page for this device. Is there any special software for audio?

Yeah Velocity Micro is definitely a computer builder. But I've never heard of a desktop with internal speaker(s).
Other than the beep code speaker.
