How can i get stereo mix to show?

Anything you "hear" from a computer, Audacity can record...

This is an older version, but check the settings in the RED box. Also, make sure you don't have a mic connected, or that you have it disabled.





In other words, you have to choose exactly what you are actually recording with Audacity.


There are a LOT of settings in Audacity. I left everything at default, except the items in the RED box.
I don't use a mic at all, but I would imagine that's where any "other" sounds are coming from.
