Arctis 1 Wired headseat not working on windows 10

hi i have everything connected and have driver installed and SteelSeries engine downloaded but when i change playback and recording to SteelSeries i can't hear anything the bar goes up for sound but i can't hear anything please can i have a setup or guide on how to get it to work thanks

You mention the display on the adapter is showing a audio signal when sound is playing then got to ask did you make sure the headphones where turned on?

Sorry i misread the thread i thought you were asking about wireless headphones i have a habit of skim reading lol. ahh they should just work being wired headphones.

so do i not need to change anything

go into device manager and uninstall the driver you installed and reinstall it you also may need to restart the computer.

Exactly what did you do to get it working?

I have an Arctis 3 Bluetooth. I can use it wireless or wired. When I use it wired it should work the same as your Arctis 1. I have never had to install any driver or other software to make it work with Windows 10 or 11.
