Why is Realtek HD Audio Manager's EQ so dumb?

That's useful. I don't see where to do any of that but it'd be nice if I could automatically disable the compressor plugin when playing something from my music player.

That'd be nice but I don't think it's possible to automatically turn off a plugin based on the app that's in use.

Thanks I found one called Rough Rider 3. Works nice, probably better than Loudness Equalization. I noticed Loudness Equalization is a bit more aggressive in lowering music volumes compared to this, but less aggressive than Rough Rider when lowering some sound effects. Overall I think I like it more.

Yes and on my last computer too that I built in 2012-2013 if I remember correctly. Why?

and what kind of computer is it since you did not mention it in your user profile's specs?
if it's custom built, then mention the motherboard brand & model used in it
