I have the same Realtek audio driver (6.0.9244.1) on 2 PCs with identical motherboards (ASUS Prime Z390-A). The driver was downloaded from ASUS and used for both PCs. The Realtek HD Audio Manager is present in the Control Panel on one, but not the other. Any ideas why? Is there any way to get it on the PC without it?
Realtek HD Audio Manager doesn't exist anymore.
Install your Asus driver using the installer (often called setup.exe or asussetup.exe) and then run Microsoft Store to pull the Realtek Audio Console app.
What has Microsoft got to do with it?
Asus determined what features your Realtek audio drivers get. The only thing Microsoft did was putting whatever version Asus decided to implement onto the Microsoft Store.
Your motherboard never had legacy Realtek audio drivers, so what you did was you installed some driver from another older Asus motherboard. Then you had problems trying to install it on your 2nd motherboard and you asked for help without telling the whole story.
You know exactly why it didn't work. That Asus Realtek audio driver wasn't meant for your motherboard.
Microsoft switched to DCH drivers in 2018.
Your motherboard was released in 2018 and only came with DCH drivers (Realtek Audio Console), it never came with legacy drivers. So your computer should never had Realtek HD Audio Manager in the first place. You are the only person in the whole world who can answer where you got that non-compatible legacy audio driver from.

Maybe the Realtek HD Audio Manager on one system was a holdover from an earlier driver, but I didn't do anything different on either of the two systems. The one with the Audio Manager also has the Enhancements tab in Control Panel > Sound > Playback > Default Device > Properties. The other one doesn't.
How many times do I have to tell you this --- it doesn't exist for your motherboard.
This is the earliest realtek driver (6.0.1.8496) for your motherboard, it contained Realtek Audio Console version 1.1.128.0.
wow why are you so rude, and also you are wrong like larc919, i have the same issues, and i used a lot newer realtek drivers before like version 9323 and installed the rektek driver normaly and not lagacy, and i got my audio manager control panel working fine, and this is a recent 2022 reltek audio driver, but once i installed a fresh copy of windows the problems started like him and this reltek audio problem for me has been going on for over 2 years, and i will say this certain version of realtek audio drivers do work, aslong as youre motherboard is not super old with a relaevant realtek audio codec on the motherboard, it will work, and yes i know about the microsoft forcing people with realtek auidio to use the ms store instead asnd install the realtek audio conpanel app which is bs and wrong, and yes this is microsofts problem iu have over 30 years of computer exp i think i know what i am talking about ms non pro sandy you sir got told
