Realtek Audio Console not showing TV speakers

I have connected my Samsung TV as a monitor to my PC through HDMI. I sometimes like to use the equaliser and other settings of the Realtek Audio Console app to change the sound quality. However, the app is not showing the built-in Samsung TV speakers to be able to do so. When connecting headphone through a jack to the PC, it appears fine.

The sound over the TV is working fine and it is also enabled in the Windows sound settings. I'm using Windows 10 21H2

How can I make the TV speakers show in the Realtek Audio console app to adjust its settings?

Realtek only handles laptop's internal speakers/microphone and 3.5mm audio stuff.

HDMI audio is handled by your graphics card driver, so Realtek Audio Console won't have anything to do with it.

That explains it, thanks. I have one other question, does sound through HDMI (or using TV speakers for that matter) actually have more latency compared to when the sound goes through the PC's internal speakers?
