Audio disabled in bios, now no option to enable it again is gone fix?

Any special settings from the left side of picture or just reload defaults for the whole thing?

I've not used that BIOS before, but I have reset default settings many times without issue. Can you save the settings, just in case? Anything can be changed back to what it is was. You could take a picture of each setting also, I've done that before.

Does a Registry Backup save the bios settings?

No, registry does not contain CMOS information, like TidySean explained in post #12.

If you are uneasy doing this, Take a picture of each and every screen in your BIOS with your SMARTPHONE before attempting the reset.

Even if I take a snapshot of each screen, how do you go about returning to where it was,

I am not too worried about it, but want to know for the know how in the future?

Should be an option in the BIOS to restore to defaults.....that would be what you are looking for. In the event that you ever get into a situation where you cannot even get to the BIOS (for example...overclocking), there is often a set of pins on the motherboard that you can jumper to reset the BIOS . 2 jumper two pins, you simply have to touch both of the pins with something like the blade of a screwdriver.

We are missing something here... can you post a screen shot of your entire screen at the bios because If you cant change anything the bios may be locked

If you have a "Unlock" Button at the bottom of your screen your bios is locked.

The bios is not locked, Thanks for the tip on the Jumper pins, tomorrow I will try the bios default settings, let you guys know what happened then!!!

It seems I do not have to use the Default settings, when I brought up the bios I hit the F5 key then Enter and the Audio option suddenly appeared on the left with the others, so I just highlighted it and the box to enable it came up so I put a check mark in it.

I am still waiting for the New Sound Card, it might take a week or so, Will get back to you guys once I get it, Thanks to all of you, Later
