    Laptop to TV headphone help.


    Can I connect my laptop to my TV with HDMI and still get sound from the laptop headphone out jack? My TV only has a digital Toslink output for audio which would require a DAC box to connect the headphones to.

    You would just have to change the default sound output from TV/HDMI (probably shown as the type of your TV) to the appropriate laptop/PC device.

    So that should definitely split the video to the TV and sound to the laptops sound device?
