    Win 8.1 No audio device is installed


    Hello am new i am Emkay by name

    i reinstall windows 8.1 on my crashed winpad 10a tablet, which was already running same version.
    then after installation i could not be able to play any audio or record anything, also missing battery icon.
    i tried updating audio drivers but shows drivers up to date,
    when uninstall and reinstall drivers still the same.
    when i manually select from add legacy hardware, it shows it may not work correctly after setup.
    pls i need help am an audio editor and need to play and record songs but i couldnt do it.

    in which the installed OS was windows 8.1
    it is extremely difficult to offer real substantive advice, as I cannot find specifications on details of the integrated audio chip on the board

    It MAYBE that it crashed
    i reinstall windows 8.1 on my crashed
    due to a fault that is now preventing audio working

    HOWEVER the main point is that this site is a WINDOWS 10 site

Suddenly the speaker icon in my tray appeared with an X and comment is that the audio device is not installed. It worked fine last week. Ran troubleshooter and it showed no problem.
