I'm actually confused, was this directed at me? I accidently deleted my question but I'm on Windows 11 and stuck with 13.0.6000.1139, it won't let me update to 13.336.1178.260.

The reason you can't update to 13.336.1178.260 is because, like me, you don't have the compatible hardware for that version. Check in Device Manager, the Hardware ID should be SWC\VEN_10EC&AID_0001.
For us, the current version is 13.0.6000.1167:

I manually updated to Realtek Audio Universal Service 1.0.744.0 and Realtek Hardware Support Application 11.0.6000.327, but every time Windows starts, an Open File - Security Warning message appears, asking if I want to run RtkAudUService64.exe. Even if I uncheck Always ask before opening this file box, the message still appears. Why?

Check your private messages for some info about using the Full Featured, stand alone HDA drivers, or adding partial "Enhancements/Effects" back to the UAD driver, without installing all the third party stuff.

Ty for the answer, i look in the Task Manager that realtek hd audio universal service is not running. I installed it by right clicking on *.inf and choosing "install" but it didn't seem to install.

Thanks for your help, I find it complicated to do all that

Yeah, most people do, it is, but thought I'd throw it out there. My main suggestion would be to stick to the HDA drivers, because they are 100% stand alone and contain all the parts, control panel, effects, etc., without having to fight with Windows Store + some buggy third party app (Nihimic, Creative) to get your EQ, Loudness EQ and/or effects.

Hopefully this nonsense marketing gimmick trend of trying to disguise a cheap, but perfectly capable Realtek Chip as some "high end gamery audio device" via forcing hijacking of it's features by some third party "malware", will friggin' F/O and die soon!

    Typical marketing crap:
"Supports Creative Sound Blaster™ Cinema 5!"
A new world of cinematic audio that delivers unprecedented levels of audio realism, dynamics and blah blah blah, B.S. blah blah. Blink blink, flash flash...

    - Translation: Buggy, badly made third party crap must be installed to confuse the $#i% out of everyone, hijack, then restore the built in but disabled "enhancements" tab in an inferior, intrusive way compared to the original HDA drivers that just worked, because we think you're too stupid to know it's just the same Realtek chip we've been using for decades, that works completely fine without all the extra nonsense!
