Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [3]

Is the quality of the sound/volume ( music, etc.) getting any better after regular updating these UAD-drivers ??
Im still using a Realtek HDA-driver from march 2022 , works very well , updating wont making my quality of sound any better............

that depends on what motherboard or computer you are using and what kind of speakers/sound system you have connected to your computer

many of us can't answer that for you as you have to find out for yourself, pietcorus2

edit - I still use HDA FFxx drivers on most of my old PCs except for my custom built PC that has a Gigabyte board w/ Realtek ALC892 - plain analog stereo speakers and/or stereo headphones connected - on the Gigabyte system I use UAD/DCH drivers since the Realtek audio "HWID" on that board (ends with SUBSYS_1458A182) supports it.

if you have sharp ears and good speakers, HDA driver sounds better and deeper!

Indeed !! So, Im keeping my " old faishon " HDA , from 2022 , together with Dolby and DFX its the best I have ever heard.......!

as recently mentioned here, Gigabyte has also posted the 6.0.9618.1 uad gigabyte driver on their main web site for newly released 2024 Aorus & G5/G6 gaming laptop pcs. all the necessary inf files (HDXGigabyte.inf & several others) are included
