    eh use this one instead (cuz saying 1.0.660.0 only will also show an "HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.0.660.0" driver along with the Realtek SoftwareComponent - 1.0.660.0 driver in the MUC search, which you don't want, asturias7):
    https://catalog.update.microsoft.com...60.0%20realtek

    though MS recently posted Realtek Audio Universal Service 1.0.664.0 and 6.0.9597.1 for Asus only (an all oem edition of 6.0.9597.1 will come later)

    Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - MEDIA - 6.0.9597.1 {Asus only} {cab download size 11.7Mb}

    Could you help me with something? Yes someone else explained it well, but I still can't get something to work for me. It's regarding Realtek Audio Component. I have been on Win11 since it was released, I'm on 23H2, yet I still have Realtek Audio Effects Component on my system under Software Components in Device Manager. If I'm not mistaken, Realtek Audio Component replaces the Audio Effects Component...??? If so, how the heck do I get the newer Audio Component? I've tried everything, yet I still can't get it to install on my system.

    Are you giving me the full string name of these lines? As far as I know you have this below. You should be seeing it under a new category?

    Audio Processing Objects (APOs)
    - Realtek Audio Effects Component

    Software components
    - Realtek Asio Component
    - Realtek Audio Universal Service
    - Realtek Hardware Support Application

    RealtekAPO_12_version-string <-- Windows 10 without its own category...
    and
    RealtekAPO_13__version-string <-- Windows 11 with its own audio effects category...

    info from the files I have from MoKiChU, posted in:

    Realtek UAD Audio Drivers : 6.0.9611.1 WHQL [28/11/2023]
    for ASUS INTEL 2XX/3XX/4XX/5XX/6XX/7XX & AMD 3XX/4XX/5XX/6XX motherboards(at Eleven Forums):

    I hope that helps and clarifies, Asturias.

    Realtek Audio Effects Component under Audio Processing Objects (APOs)- would not install 13.235.1124.206, The best drivers for your device are already installed.
