Archived! Seems like a good driver. FF00 and no extra stuff best I can tell.
Here's the G-Drive links to my "favorite" standalone HDA drivers for anyone who wants them, including a mirror of the one discussed above. 8838 and 9273 are "device manager" installs. No Setup.exe. 9326 has Setup.exe installer but is non WHQL, if you care.

These are all full, stand alone HDA drivers, not the newer UAD, for those who prefer them.

FF00 HDA 6.0.1.8338 whql - 12/28/2017, no installer, newest one that still adds "make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously" for those, like me, who don't get it with newer drivers.

FF04 HDA 6.0.9273.1 whql - 11/25/2021, no installer, Good all around plus Conexant support.

FF00 HDA 6.0.9326.1 non-whql - 03/15/2022, no installer.

Note on 9326: on this one, it did not make the usual registry entry to start the control panel (taskbar icon) with Windows (which I always remove anyway), so I included a registry file to do that if you want it (double click after install). Depending on your mainboard, you may have to edit it to point to the correct exe (RAVCpl64.exe, or RtkNGUI64.exe). My old gigabyte board used RtkNGUI64.exe, for example.

you're welcome, pietcorus2. just don't ask for any more new HDA drivers beyond 9326 cuz Realtek is no longer making them on a regular basis anymore once Win11 first came out (HDA driver releases went downhill bigtime when Win11 was released and many OEMs widely adopted Microsoft's modern UAD/DCH driver standard)

and according to your user profile, your motherboard in your specs is nearly a decade old. only boards with at least Intel 200 series chipsets (ex. B250, Z270, etc.) could use newer UAD/DCH Realtek audio drivers; older boards with Intel 100 series chipsets (ex. Z170) & earlier, only HDA non-UAD drivers are provided. the last UAD/DCH driver to officially include generic hdxrt.inf & hdxrtsst.inf files was 6.0.8904.1 from late February 2020 & those two generic INF files were dropped from 6.0.8907.1 & newer.

you could also try a generic UAD/DCH but rare 6.0.9356.1 hdxrt.inf driver from DriverHub {this too, not developed on a regular basis; it's a once-in-a-blue-moon uad version}

I'm having a problem with the realtek audio drivers from HP for my intel/nvidia based HP Omen 16.1. One of the speakers are cracking and popping at random intervals during sound playback.

I have had instances of 0 issues after alot of tweaking, but with every windows update it comes back. Right now its cracking and popping with now audio even playing so I doubt it's an hardware issue.

The info is:

Could anyone recommend me a driver to go with? I am not sure if I can try any realtek driver or if I need a specific one.
