the HDA driver has more crisp and richer sound and deeper bass. it's the one I'm using for my Win11 Pro 22H2 on my Ryzen 5 2400G on MSI B450 Mortar Titanium.

1. 6.0.9273.1 linked above, for a device manager install, no "setup.exe" and it's FF04 with CXAPO if not mistaken.
2. Or 6.0.9239.1 FF00 from Asrock for the last "all models, full installer" version. Both work fine (neither sounds better or anything) on my B450 and B550 boards with ALC892 and ALC1200 chips. I stick to 9239 myself.
3. Depending on your specific mainboard, if you need the old "make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously" so you can have headphones and rear out plugged in at the same time and set the one in use as default, you may have to go way back to 6.0.1.8338, but that's getting pretty old now.
