6.0.9239.1 HDA FF00 driver is absent from the 1st post of this thread.
    Any specific reason why?

Or even the 6.0.9273.1 HDA FF04 driver. Both are more recent than the one listed as of this post (6.0.9175.1)

the generic 6.0.9239.1 HDA FF00 drivers are released to various OEMs and NOT to Microsoft (aka. MS Catalog & windows update) - AAEON, Asrock, eVGA, HUANANZHI and MSI.

Realtek only submitted generic 6.0.9239.1 FF01 {FMAPO} drivers to Microsoft, not FF00 (Realtek's choice). the 55.6Mb 6.0.9239.1 HDA FF00 x64 version from MS is HP/Compal Electronics Inc specific and not generic.

ask Brink as to why he has not mentioned the 6.0.9273.1 HDA FF04 x64 driver on the very 1st post, s0urce.
this appears to be the very last HDA driver version. all 6.0.93xx & higher driver versions are UAD/DCH

Thanks for these links any idea if it's suitable for a MSi Z390 ACE mobo? I use to be able to update the drivers via the MSI centre, but they stopped updating it there too.

If the device id matches the .inf file(s) i would say yes. My msi notebook runs perfectly fine on 6.0.9546.1.

erpman15ac02e2 posted Nahimic APO4 v4.9.10 driver with A-volute 1.5.17 MSI extension driver over there.
