Those 9468 ones are for windows 11 though, correct? It doesn't list windows 10 as supported products.

It's a quirk in the MUC.

Give it a few more days and MUC will populate it with 10 more entries all pointing to the same cab files and they will say 20h1, 20h2, 21h2, 22h2...

    Hello folks,

I'm extremly confused reg. the Audio drivers.
I have the GE73 Raider RGB 8RF and Windows 11 installed.

    MSI GE73 Raider RGB 8RF – Light’em Up

Fighting a nasty "low volume"-problem here while trying to update my audio driver... if I even can. Realtek Audio Console doesn't provide any options on my jacks....

Which one can I install? The one installed is

    Realtek

I apologize for asking here, but I know you guys are quite knowledgeable, and I haven't been able to get answers through other means such as Google, Reddit, Asus forums, or even the Asus online chat.

I have an ASUS ROG Strix B550-F gaming motherboard. When I install the audio drivers (UAD by the way if that matters) from ASUS's website, i see two audio devices in device manager: Realtek(R) Audio, which is the one I expect to see, and then something called "Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer". What is this SSVM thing? It doesn't seem to do anything, but is always there.

    Greetings,

I am far from knowledgeable on this topic, but the first thing I would do to figure this out is determine if you are using HDA or UAD drivers. I'm not exactly certain how to do this, but I think this tutorial can help.
Once you know, you can download and install updated versions of what you have. If using HDA (which is simply one driver file that installs all components--an "older" way of installing audio drivers), you can find the most recent version on the first page of this thread. If using UAD (which is a "newer" way of installing audio drivers, where each piece comes as a separate component that needs to be installed/updated individually, with the main driver being what gets updated the most frequently by far), you can find the most recent version that is available on the microsoft update catalog posted in this thread. There seems to be a new one every several weeks, with the most recent version being 6.0.9468.1.

    An interesting note:
First, the 9468 drivers are no longer available it seems.
Also, for the 9464 drivers, the 11.5 mb version did not work for me. My system would not recognize it and kept telling me I had the latest drivers. However, the 11.9 mb version IS recognized. First time experiencing that and found it quite odd.

The 11.9 MB versions usually work for all or most OEMs, if I'm not mistaken. The 11.5 MB versions are specific.
Btw, 9468 is still available via MUC, and it's 11.9 MB.

Hi, I have Asus laptop running the legacy HDA audio version 6....0.1.8619. As I like the classic Realtek Audio Manager, I remember I struggled to find a suitable driver > 6...8619. Now I need to upgrade from 8619 again but every driver I install gets that ICEsound stuff loaded on my system (that audiowizard thing instead of Sound Effects tab in manager...) .

So I see I have two options:

    1) Find the one driver I know that has fixed the 8619 sudden "pops", and didn't come bundled with ICE stuff. or...
    2) Install some HDA recent driver like 9239 version and find a way to get rid of ICE, by deleting registry entries, files etc.

But I'm really stuck trying to do that. Please help
