My Dell minitowers which dual Windows 7 and 10 have Realtek ALC3220/ALC3861 high definition audio.
The HDA driver that I am currently using is version 6.0.9273.1.

Today, I saw version 6.0.9441.1 at the Microsoft Update Catalog site, but I do not know if it is a HDA or UAD driver.
What the downloaded file is unpacked, it shows these Dell-related INF files.
Assuming that I can use this driver, which INF file do I select?

The MUC files are for updating computers that already have OEM UAD drivers installed on their computers.

As the inf file name indicated, they are for Dell computers manufactured on 2018 and after, therefore not applicable to your computers.

Read my sticky tutorial for more background information.

Thanks for that very clear explanation.

My Dells are 4th and 6th generation Intel and are pre-2018 models.

That's your HDMI audio, it's using Microsoft's generic audio driver, so update your graphics driver.

Realtek(R) Audio is your 3.5mm audio.

You went to god's know where to download a realtek driver when your motherboard has 6.0.9452.1

Take a look at your own old post and you will find what item belong to what device.

Over 2 threads (the old one from July 2022), I still don't know what you want because you don't reply anything useful.

In your old thread, did you fix your problem in July 2022? Whether my comments in July 2022 fixed your previous problem or not, you should have the courtesy to say it 6 months ago.

In this current page, where did you download the Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Drivers Version R2.8x (9459.1) WHQL file (which doesn't look like the official driver).

Displayport (like HDMI) also carries audio and that audio is governed by your graphics card. What you highlighted from yesterday shows that your graphics card didn't install the audio portion of the driver, so it instead use Microsoft's generic audio driver. Re-install your graphics card driver will take your device manager back to the July 2022 screenshot in that it will show nvidia high definition audio.

After you install your graphics card driver, go and pick which audio device you want to use. Realtek would use the 3.5mm stuff on your pc. And your nvidia high definition audio will send audio to your monitor.
