Thanks for the clarification @sandyt. I just wished MUC had a time stamp as well as I mentioned earlier, both the latest Realtek Audio Effects Component 21H2 v11.0.6000.980 11/1/2021 and Realtek Audio Universal Service 21H2 v1.0.0.452 11/1/2021 have identical dates of November 1, 2021 so it's obvious one has to download one or the other first to see what version of the other it installs and hopefully neither of them has a older version of the other component than the 11/1/2021 version.

If it is the same day, don't worry about it --- they point to the same cab file.

It is not rocket science. The most technical thing I can do is Excel macros.

@sandyt - Thanks, didn't realize that they can use the same cab file name for different listings with different version numbers. I usually never keep the .cab file that long as I will delete the .cab file after it's extracted and the folder gets renamed to Realtek Software Components v followed by the Audio Effects version number as I used to think that already included the latest for all the other components until I read your mini-tutorial in the posts earlier.

Since software components (if you look at the inf file) are not hardware id tied to specific oem manufacturers, you can also cross-update from other oem motherboards. This motherboard has 9279 driver --- you cannot update the actual driver because it is hardware id tied to supermicro, but you can update the 3 Realtek software components and download the latest realtek audio console (after you run Microsoft Store to pull it).

what kind of computer are you using, miguelgrado?
post or list specs of your PC or motherboard after running either Speccy or HWInfo
latest HDA FF00 (non-UAD) Realtek driver is 6.0.9235.1 from Biostar but the older 6.0.9205.1 FF00 version has slightly better sound quality than 9235.

i can't answer the rest of your questions until you mention the computer you are using

edit - here's the Realtek HDA control panel I have on my old HP pavilion m8417c desktop computer (using Realtek ALC888S):

You are talking about a 2009 motherboard. You are lucky that you can even install 9205 in the first place.

All HDA drivers before 8857 contained unpatched security vulnerabilities, so don't even think about reinstalling r2.82 (which is 8186).
