only UAD/DCH based Realtek audio drivers are certified for use under Win11 because Microsoft prefers OEMs to use modern drivers based on Microsoft's DCH standards (for systems using 7th gen Intel or newer)

HDA drivers are non-DCH and are compatible up to Win10; Win11 support is unknown for HDA drivers, atm
(maybe another reason why Win11 officially supports 8th gen Intel, AMD Zen 2 or newer is because these systems use modern DCH drivers instead of legacy drivers)

contact or ask Realtek if they'll be producing new HDA drivers; I don't see anything newer than 9205 HDA and that version is still very good to use

Trying to find the MSI version of the Cliff S approved 6.0.9238.1, but no luck thus far. I modify Mokichu's installer for MSI people, but that's much harder to do since someone got him cranky and he no longer supplies for ASRock/MSI/Gigabyte. It is nice that you report your findings here Cliff, thanks for that.

A definite pity for those of us with MSI and Gigabyte boards as well as Asus but Erpster4
does post on LaptopVideo2Go's Realtek Drivers Thread pretty regularly , as erp-ster7n , I assume it's the same person.

I got my last msi/gigabyte Drivers ( 9205.1) over there, no 9238 yet.

Appreciate the link sir. I also try to recreate Mokichu's work for other MSI folk. I'm not well versed in all things drivers, but do what I can to help others - Realtek UAD 6.0.9228.1 & Latest Software Components Audio Drivers for MSI Users - YouTube

    Hello all,
Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) :
    Drivers : 6.0.9238.1 WHQL [14/09/2021] MokiChu version
It is compatible with windows 11?
I installed the latest driver version on ROG MAXIMUS X CODE, windows 11 , but I don't have access to the realtek audio control interface and in microsoft store they don't let me install it.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem ?
I would ask Mokichu in his thread, which Version Driver you need as it may not be the SS3 Version he posts, as I think the X-Code is a high end Mobo correct?

Could be wrong but I thought Windows 11 was moving towards DCH only for drivers.

Nope, you're not wrong. You're absolutely right. That's what they do.
And that's one of the reasons of the strict CPU list. To have systems, after early 2018 which can use DCH drivers.
