    What about that?

    I can get the driver's off my motherboard's website to install without too much fuss, but they are pretty old and the main reason I am going to through all this is to get that realtek app with all the extra features back

    Honestly I don't know because your HWID is present in HDXGigabyte.inf, as expected. You can try with elevated cmd prompt by going into directory where you unpacked the driver and running:

    pnputil /a HDXGigabyte.inf /i

    This may give some more detailed info about your problem.

    Unpack? I haven't done anything to do the cab file, am I supposed to extract it first prior to doing that?
