FYI - Asus Forums are now back.
[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx & AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx)
Mokichu will have to get out there to update everything.![]()
Awesome. Just glad to get the latest somewhere.Happy Holidays!!!
I am confused what driver to use.
Got Asus TUF Gaming B550 with Windows 10.
The latest driver on Asus is : Realtek audio driver V6.0.8971.1
But this does not contain the realtek audio hd console which I need.
And the microsoft store one did not want to install.
So what driver is for Windows 10 and my motherboard? That works with the microsoft store Realtek or includes the old realtek hd console?.

8971 is the latest Win10 only driver specific to your Tuf gaming B550 board, Niv.
there's v6.0.9238.1 available for that board and even if it's listed for Win11 only, it should also work on Win10 as well.
According to MoKiChU:
You have an ASUS TUF DTS Custom motherboard, so :
You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS Custom) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx & AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx) | Windows 11 Forum
And you need to follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that MoKiChU release, you can directly follow your UPDATE process.
I haven't seen a HDA driver update since version 6.0.9273.1 was released.
It works fine in both Windows 7 and 10, but I'm curious if there's been any more updates.
Hi guys, got a question in regards to my newest build. I got an ASUS Rog Strix B550-A Gaming, and I downloaded the official Realtek audio drivers, but these come with their Sonic software and such, and I am unable to turn on loudness equalization. Is there a way to do this or another driver?
Thank you.
