    Again only UAD , wondering of my HDA 6.0.9273.1 ever will be updated.............
    Though its a very good driver , with DOLBY enabled .
    Will not uninstall to replace it with UAD , dont think it will improve my sound-quality.................

    latest HDA driver release for Win10 x64 is still 9273 FF04 - Realtek has not produced nor made any new HDA FFxx drivers since then and hasn't released any newer HDA versions to any OEMs for several months now

    the "drought" of HDA driver releases in 2022 continues (if you know what a drought means)

    Note to Brink: v6.0.9239.1 HDA (nonUAD/nonDCH) FF01 generic x64 driver on MS Update (posted 7/09/2022) - {151.9Mb cab download}
    WHQL for x64 Win7 & x64 Win10 (signature files like hdxrt.cat for 9239 HDA have OSAttr value of 2:6.1,2:10.0, meaning NT 6.1 = Win7, NT 10.0 = Win10)
    {older than 9273 HDA FF04 but 9239 HDA FF00/FF01 have slightly better audio quality}

    FF01 = Fortemedia APO [FMAPO] integration
    Note to Brink:

    a follow up on the older 9239 FF01 HDA version

    a 32bit / x86 version of the 6.0.9239.1 FF01 HDA driver is available (posted 7/29/2022, near end of July) {90.2Mb cab download link from MS}
    for 32bit Win7 & Win10

    Nothing wrong with HDA drivers, I think I have 9132)not quite sure, but it is an older one) on my other four computers(I hardly ever use them, but I know they are there in a pinch),

    I spent a few days testing some recommended versions of HDA drivers on my B85M-G PLUS and came to the following conclusion:

    9175: good soundstage amplitude, crystal clear highs and prominent mids, bass with a good punch;

    9205: nothing special here, more absent bass, more saturated mids and crystal clear highs;

    9239: same as 9205, no difference for me;

    9273: today I installed this driver and that's what I'm going to keep, simply because it's perfect! It's as good as the 9175 but with something else, I'd say it has more weight in the bass, more punch, balanced mids and clear, well-defined highs.

    I have the sound output connected to a first generation Teac AG790 stereo Receiver, which were the best released in their line (outputs with Toshiba transistors).

    So the 9273 is my favorite driver until a better HDA version comes out (which I doubt).

    Sorry for my English.

    What do you mean by "Dolby enabled"? How do you activate this? I saw that your motherboard uses the ALC887 codec, the same codec as mine, although your motherboard is more advanced, but in terms of sound they should be the same.

    And my motherboard has these audio capabilities, does that make any significant difference?

    I had a Gigabyte that used an ALC892 codec, but the sound didn't come close to the quality of the ALC887 I use now.

    I have in computer years an old, 2017, Lenovo 720S-14IKB Ideapad. I use it mostly for watching videos when away with earbuds. It still had the original Realtek HD 6.01.8378 driver with the Lenovo Dolby Atmos app that came with it. No other Realtek audio updates are available from Lenovo support.

    On your suggestion, Thanks, I downloaded and installed 9273. The Dolby Atmos app is still there and working. I'll give 9273 a try.

    newest version, wrong date, Cliff S.

    should be "6.0.9384.1 WHQL [19/07/2022] for ASUS" [might be "nitpicking" a little bit here]

    well marchetti87, I have a custom built PC with a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 motherboard that uses ALC892 and the sound quality on that one is great (and using UAD/DCH drivers because HWID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182" is supported by both UAD and nonUAD (HDA) drivers.) I even have these advanced options available on the ALC892 in Realtek Audio Console:

    not sure if all these "advanced" options will be available in your Gigabyte board with ALC887

    Not nitpicking, just showing me I made a copy/past mistake, thanks.
