Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [3]

I bought the apple usb c to 3.5 dongle cause its like 9 bucks. Its kinda sad how its sound better and louder than any thing I heard on my motherboard

Even when I set the headphone smart amp to level 3.
I was a firm believer that dacs are overkill since on board audio is getting better. well guess not.
my headphone -oppo pm3- has an above average sens and it has a low impedance. its absurd how listenable it is at low volumes.
I'll be lurking around testing out drivers every now and then to see if anything can pull me away from the dongle.
I do not wana go down that dac/amp rabbit hole.
I hope this is an issue with my pc cause its laughable otherwise.

How do you know if a driver is HDA FF00 from the microsoft catelog?

I have big struggle with the realtek audio driver for ALC1200 on the ASUS TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI. I just want standard drivers with audio console because I need the equalizer.

I have windows 10 enterprise LTSC which doesnt include windows store and I can not get audio console through windows store.

I tried official asus driver Realtek_Audio_Driver_V6.0.9071.1_WIN10_64-bit which doesnt install audio console nor equalizer... I tried pal1000 drivers (Unofficial-Realtek-UAD-generic-6.0.9313.1 and RealtekAudioControl_1.35.268-offline) which include offline audio consol but I didnt audio console nor equalizer.

Also I tried AAFOptimusDCHAudioPack9313 which also didnt install audio console nor equalizer.

I dont need the latest drivers I just want drivers that includes audio console and equalizer without need for microsoft store, because LTSC windows doesnt have microsoft store.

Please help me :)

Mokichu has posted Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS MB) 6.0.9316.1 WHQL, and they sound really good, the bass and subs have a brutal thump and punch, and the mids and highs sound good too.

Thanks. These updates seem to come frequently, about once a week. Why so many? On my mb's website the last Realtek audio driver update was last October.

You'll want to stick with HDA drivers, instead of UAD.

Latest (6.0.9239.1):

Realtek High Definition Audio (HDA) Version R2.8x (9239.1) WHQL

Older version (6.0.1.8328 if it supports the ALC1200?) that includes "Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously" option, assuming you care, and the newer one is missing that option. It's missing on my newest Asrock board, but exists on my older gigabyte board (with the same 9239 driver version) and I want the setting so I can leave my headphones plugged in, but off, while using the rear outputs to my speakers:

Tip: unless you want Windows update jamming in some third party bloatware like Creative Soundblaster Cinema or Nahimic or whatever, disconnect the internet, uninstall and clean up the old driver, then install the new (to you) HDA one and reboot before allowing internet access again.

I agree, it's a solid, good sounding driver

The older 8328 version also sounds very good, but is just for folks with a specific reason to use it. The otherwise missing separate headphone/rear out jack option on my particular mainboard, Asrock B450 Gaming K4, with newer drivers.
