For those of us whose Realtek Audio Effects Component has Hardware ID: SWC\VEN_10EC&AID_0001, the latest version available is 13.1.6000.1076 (https://catalog.s.download.windowsup...26569e8b7b.cab)

But version 13.1.6000.1076 is for Win11 ONLY! You cannot install it under Win10.

For Win10 all users should obtain version 12.1.6000.1076 of the Realtek Audio Effects Component driver instead.

Updating to Realtek HSA 347 and Audio driver 9727:

My drivers look like they got rolled back to the OUTDATED non-DCH type Realtek driver that says "Realtek High Definition Audio" instead of "Realtek(R) Audio". And Realtek HSA, AEC, and all these components now report error code 45, hardware not present in this device. What happened? All I did was update Realtek Audio Universal Service to 1.0.788.0, Realtek Hardware Support Application to 11.0.6000.347, Realtek Audio Effects Component to 13.1.6000.1076, and audio driver itself to 6.0.9727.1. But Realtek Audio Console is fully functional including audio effects. Confusing.

It's just a marketing name. Some manufacturers like Dell decided to keep the old long name. Even if your computer uses the new realtek(r) audio name, the actual inf file will still use the old long name.

    And now...

Attempted to insert the latest ASIO, HSA, etc drivers to a 9727 driver installer, but got a HDA "Realtek High Definition Audio" driver with no Audio Console. Tried to manually install without a installer, same thing.

And here I am with 9679, but finally installed properly in DCH format, as Realtek(R) Audio.
Never gonna waste my time with this mess unless I encounter issues. Shouldn't think of messing around with this too much unless I know how Realtek UAD drivers work and how installers manage to install it as a UAD, DCH type driver.
