Asus recently has an "official" 6.0.9621.1 audio driver for recent Asus laptop pcs on their web site.

Is there an application to use instead of Realtek Audio Control not from windows store?

there is no other application that matches the Realtek audio driver.

The control panel included in the full, standalone HDA versions of the drivers is about all I can think of, other than the Windows Sound Properties (shortcut with target = C:\Windows\System32\mmsys.cpl).

Realtek Audio Control has it.

This can be fixed if you do a registery edit. You need to check your own values because this might be different (0001 or 0002 or 0003 etc.)
