Boost [ Increase ] Maximum Sound.

My Laptops Maximum Volume is NOT loud enough.

I did see a post a while back on here from a member that I think recommended a FREE bit of Software [ Equaliser ] that would Increase the Volume past the Maximum Volume Setting, but typically, I can NOT find it now.

Because this is a 10+ year old Laptop, there are NO updated [ New ] Drivers available for it.

    Thanks.

The free PC Equaliser /APO as decribed in that video is a 2 part download and installation - the 2nd gives you a simpler GUI:

    PC Equalizer - GUI download | SourceForge.net

You can see the more complex GUI in the first item here:

OK, I gave it a go. Very nice.

I think the Software, for me at least, can do Without Peace. I tried it with BOTH, leaving the defaults as they were, by increasing the db by 5, and it certainly did make a difference. I captured some screenshots . . .

    Boost [ Increase ] Maximum Sound.-equal.png
    Boost [ Increase ] Maximum Sound.-equal_2.png
    Boost [ Increase ] Maximum Sound.-equal_3.png

I might try some tweaks in the week.

    I settled on this [ using Peace ] in the end . . .

One thing I did do, was to reset the db back to -6.5, which was the default when the Program initially started.

I don't know if that is what you did @dalchina?

I set the graphic equaliser as I need it nominally level, tweaked to compensate for rubbish internal squeakers, then use one of the sliders on the right in my screenshot to adjust overall sound if too low- e.g. in certain streamed events or Zoom perhaps.

Thanks for the clarification dalchina, it is appreciated.

I have now added Peace as a Shorcut in my Customised Toolbar for quick and easy access.
