I have to contest, if we're talking about doing things correctly, when you split the signal for half to drive the subwoofer, you really should use a buffer (like an op-amp) to drive each output. On old/bad hardware you could really stress/outright pop the output driving two loads with it. With that said, why not make use of the individual drivers the motherboard offers?

Thanks Kevmandigo for reminding me about EqualizerAPO. Works a charm. Some people just have to have the last word.

But you are not "driving" anything. His stereo computer speakers plugs into the electrical outlet in the wall. His subwoofer also plugs into the the electrical outlet in the wall. Both have their own op-amps.

Don't you love these brand new members with zero post history --- thinking that they know what they are talking about. I gave the link to the full solution if you want to Equalizer APO. If you want to thank, then thank me because his EqualizerAPO solution doesn't work.

Your line signal is driving the input stage to the amplifier in the subwoofer.

His solution worked perfectly for me. My neighbours can attest to it.

Made an account just to reply to this. I wanted to say a big thank you to OP, this is the exact solution I needed, regardless of whether or not its the "right" way of doing things according to Sandyt. Again, thank you very much Kevmandigo!

Same here. Regardless of what is right and wrong, this solution worked absolutely perfectly. I don't have any problems with quietness or anything else.

Edit: The Equalizer APO config.txt in the linked reddit post also works. Thanks for that link as well.
