Win 10: Front Panel Audio - Headphone to Speaker swap not accepted...
Hail:
Now, I never had this issue before, but restoring my Acronis backup after a bad incident with an Insider Dev Build, I cannot set my front jack to speakers, while it was no issue before...
System:
I5 10600K UC
MSI 3070 Trio
32GB RAM
MSI B460 Tomahawk with Realtek 6.0.8924.2 driver
While yes, in Realtek the jack is retasked to Speakers, Windows then refuses to accept this, keeping the headphone locked.
I am not quite able to delete the Realtek Driver (it was pure misery to install it, as Windows kept reverting to the Win base driver for whatever reason).
Uninstalling that driver will again start the whole misery with the Win base driver, which sounds beyond horrible.
Not to mention the Windows Audio Manager... which it will force upon me as update.
Is there a way to unlock the speaker option again?
Reason:
While I am using a headphone, the headphone option alters music badly, which in Speaker Mode, is untouched...
And I very much dislike that alteration in sound.
Thank you very much:
Ben
