    It's the system volume when you press the key to +/- the level. It should fade out in a few seconds. This is Groove playing at bottom and your screenshot shows up for 3-4 secs after I change Vol then goes away.

    HideVolume OSD is perfect for this!

    If you do not wish to have the utility run at Start Up, you can create a context menu entry to invoke at will...
