Where to post about an audio/audio cable question? Possibly here?

I have a receiver that has RCA type connectors for 5.1, is there a way to connect the three 3.5mm surround sound connections (side, read and C/Sub) from a soundcard to this setup?

Example of receiver connections I have:https://www.the-home-cinema-guide.co...ctions-960.jpg

Assuming the 3.5mm connections are standard stereo (TRS) type connectors then 3 of these should do the trick:-

2m 3.5mm Jack to 2 x RCA Cable (Twin Phono) Audio Lead Stereo Long GOLD | eBay

(more expensive / more impressive / longer/ shorter versions of these cables are widely available for those who feel the need)

EDIT "Sound & Audio" would appear to be the perfect place to ask about audio cables

I just made a post there now to double check. But that's what I was thinking would work but I'm wondering if anyone else does it this way. It seems like it should be common knowledge but I can't find much info about connecting a soundcard to a receiver like that.

Yes - my Asus soundcard is connected to an AV receiver using that type of cable.
