    No speaker sound

Windows 10. I知 using Creative T30 Wireless speakers direct connected by wire to my HP laptop. The speakers are Blue Tooth but since Blue tooth performs poorly, I used direct connect. They have been working fine but for some reason I知 suddenly not getting any sound. The RealTeck High Definition Audio device is up to date but he Creative T30 Wireless speakers do not show up as an output device in sound settings. The troubleshooter does not report any problem. How can I get the speakers working?

Hi, 2 basic things to check:
    a. which is your default device?

    b. What does your volume mixer show? (Rt click Volume icon, click volume mixer)
    - are any items muted?

I know nothing about your particular speakers, but presumably there may be some relevant setting or option.

Do you get any sound by other means - e.g. headphones?

Thanks, that did the trick. Something changed my default device!
