I disabled HDMI audio on external monitor; now I want it back

Hi, this is my first post here, hope it's in the right place. I recently added an old Dell Inspiron AIO as a second monitor. The audio was coming out of the speakers, so I found a thread on this forum that explained how to disable the audio. Now, I want to be able to enable the audio but no matter what I do, I cannot find it.

The way I disabled it was going to Device Manager>Sound, Video and Game Controllers> Right clicking the device and selecting Disable. Now, I cannot get the device back. I have unhid Disabled devices, still not there.

How can I get my audio back? Thanks in advance.

    Ryzen 5 2600
    32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM

Here is the thread I followed to disable, if it helps.
How to turn off HDMI audio?

Can you be more specific? I cannot find that setting anywhere. Checked Settings>Sound, Control Panel>Sound and Volume icon in taskbar. There is nothing that says 'default playback device'.

Unless you have a real High End Monitor you are better off with the sound coming from your onboard sound card or an installed one. There are in My Dell 24" 144Hz monitor just two small speakers, that do not sound all that great.

I already checked there. Yeah, the device is not showing anywhere. As if it were deleted. I've disconnected and reconnected, restarted the computer, refreshed the Device Manager, it's just gone.

Honestly, the 2nd monitor is a full PC, it's just old and slow, but for the sake of using it as a monitor, it's great. The front speakers are pretty good and I only want to use them when I'm playing a movie, so the sound is coming from the same sources as the video. I have bluetooth speakers, but this already has on board sound and I just want to use it. I wish I never disabled it in the first place. There has to be a simple way of making it recognize the device again.

I would try reinstalling video and audio drivers and see if it comes back

I use mine as well and my two external speakers on on each side of the front of the monitor.

I've tried everything suggested, still not showing up or resolving. Weird.
