    Realtek GUI

Just done a new Windows 10 build based on Asrock H410M-HDV and the Realtek interface looks like this

however, I'd like it to look like this on my MSI B85M-E45

is it possible, or is it a mobo thing ?

Use the HDA driver for the old interface, instead of UAD

That shows UAD, if you want the other type GUI you want a HDA driver

I downloaded and unzipped the cab, pointed dev manager at the folder, and files were installed.

Now I have no sound at all, just the message 'Realtek Audio Console doesn't support for this machine'.

I should have gone with my gut feeling - the sticky that appears to be 300+ pages of gibberish should be avoided.

    Luckily I took a Macrium snapshot ...

There is zero person here that would tell you that it would be a good idea to uninstall new UAD driver and install legacy HDA driver.
