Mic detected but not receiving input

it said i could not keep my apps and archives, i went with full wipe anyway, the process is continuing now

didn't work microphone still don't work, the same problem as before but now I have clean windows with updated BIOS, I will just assume my laptop board is defective and move on with my life, unless there is another step to follow, thanks for trying to help me

Were all drivers downloaded from the Acer website followed by Windows updates?

yes I installed all windows updates and downloaded all acer drivers for my laptop from the website, in the device manager screen there is no more devices with exclamation marks, mic is detected but still no input, I will upload the new V2 tomorrow night then

so my mic started to work again today for no apparent reason. my sister connected her earphone and the windows showed a window asking to select if it was just audio or audio and mic, she selected mic and it was working. do you still want new logs ?

Restore point created, i didn't even do the HP site procedures, just turned it on and "magically" was working again, thanks for all your help, hope all this discussion is usefull if anyone ever encounter a similar problem, you are doing gods work, thank you!
