will bluetooth speakers work with no audio drivers?

Win 10 20h2 clean re-install doesn't resolve audio driver issue on my HP X360 laptop - also tried troubleshooter, uninstall/reinstall drivers (from Realtek/HP/Microsoft). Issue is with both internal and external speakers.

So assume this is probably a mainboard issue.

Before investing in Bluetooth speakers, want to know if this would work assuming audio drivers are uninstalled?

    Anyone know?

    Hello @robmar0se,

Normally, whenever a NEW device is attached [ Wireless or Wired ], Windows will check that it has the correct drivers for it. If NOT, Windows will search for and install the drivers for you.

Other than that, you can always run WU, or look at the Manufacturers website for the latest and most up to date driver[s].

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for your input, but as stated no drivers resolve this nor does the troubleshooter - impacts internal.external as non-functional.

Hence for looking for solution "round" the problem, rather than "through" it - will Bluetooth be a solution if no sound drivers installed/removed?

Blue tool is wireless it simply send sounds to the speaker so it should work if you have a smart phone you should have BT on that so you can test first

I have a JBL Flip 4 speaker and all that's required is it to be paired to the system. This is typical of Bluetooth devices. In short... no drivers needed.
