    What do you mean 2 wire of 1 wire? By the way, I don't have Realtek Audio drivers and I tried installing them. It didn't work.

    No, I do not. I have Inspiron 13-7353 if that helps. I have neither of the options you gave me.

    The headset is connected to the computer through a single wire. My computer only has one headphone jack. Below I posted an image of my headphones is that help.

    OK. Man, it would be such a relief to get this mic issue sorted out.

    I was asked to help but I' deep into getting ready for a move over the weekend.
    I will say that you need the Dell model specific sound driver for MaxxAudio to work. MaxxAudio detects jack operation.

    Sorry I can't stick around and try to be of assistance.

    The label that is next to the mouse pad on my computer says that I have Waves MaxxAudio Pro.
