In the media player window for the video itself, there is also a volume control. Is that all the way up?

Do you have an example of a video with the sound problem?

Yes, I can send the link:

about 15:29 on the video he brings his wife on and I hear Dave, just Ok, and that's with all at highest volume. She I strain to hear. I am 68, no hearing aids but yes, I am not as good as when I was younger. TVs are horrid because speakers are always in back, but I hear youtube on my tv the same way as my pc, some vids good, some bad.

I find the volume on the video to be a little bit low compared to other sounds. I run my games at about 42, and the video I had to turn up to about 80, and yes, when the woman was speaking had to go up to 100 to hear without straining. Maybe keep a set of headphones handy that you can plug into the headphone jack of the volume control pod when you need to?

So there isn't any software or hardware I could add to enhance the volume? I think I know the answer, but thought I'd ask. I sure appreciate you trying the video yourself. It's good to know that it's not just me

I have, but found only "equilizers" that are so hard for me to figure out, I end up trashing them. Luckily I don't "buy" software, there seems to be a free alternative for everything I have earbuds I can plug in easily to my PC which is where I listen the most. Thanks again

For me, that link to that video....It played fine....and I could hear both the man and woman just fine and my volume is set at.....wait for it..........4. That's right at 4.

Then I moved my volume knob to 10. both of them sound exactly the same.

Try 'Loudness Equalization' in Control Panel/Sound...
