Logitech HD Pro webcam c920 mic not working with apps (OK in Settings)

The microphone on my Logitech HD Pro webcam c920 has stopped working with Skype, Zoom, Camera and other apps. The camera works fine. If I troubleshoot the device in the "Test your microphone" section in Windows settings it seems to work fine - i.e. I see the input level respond when I speak into it. If I choose the "Troubleshoot" option it says it couldn't identify the problem.
    I've tried:
    - uninstalling the Logitech webcam software
    -unplugging the webcam from USB
-removing the webcam driver from Device Manager
-rebooting (the driver was reinstalled after reboot).
Any idea why the mic doesn't work with Skype, Zoom, Camera apps??
    I'm running Windows 10 Pro.

Make sure that ALL the devices are Plugged In and ON, then perform the following [ this checks for ANY Problem Device Errors ] . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Find ANY Problem Devices . . .
[3] Download and Run the .bat file [ Find_ANY_Problem_Devices.bat ].

If there are ANY errors it will create a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I ran the .bat file. It didn't create a Prob_Devices.txt file - only a msinfo32_Report.txt file.

You ran the wrong Batch file. Please try again . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Find ANY Problem Devices . . .

The file that I downloaded and ran was: Find_ANY_Problem-Devices.bat
    Wasn't that what you said?

Yes, but you must have run the MSInfo32 [ MS System Information ] Batch file!

If there was NOT a message saying NO PROBLEM DEVICES WERE FOUND!, then there will be a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop.

    I hope this helps.

Ok I ran MS_Info32.bat, outputting to an .nfo file (option 4). I then re-ran Find_ANY_Problem_Devices.bat
    The result was:
    NO PROBLEM DEVICES WERE FOUND!

    That's good.

    OK, back to basics . . .
