Then it's the voice changer app's problem, nothing to do with your driver or Windows 10.
Alright, but why wouldn't the earphone mic show as an input device on windows audio driver anyway? That shouldn't happen. Can you help me fix that?

If your Earpeice/headphone is from a Phone that maybe the issue? Headphone mics are wired several different ways and not all are compatible with PC combo ports, for example most apple headphones with built in mics are wired differently using a non standard CTIA version vs than "normal" TRRS wired headphones, using the OMTP Standard or CTIA ( also known as AHJ ).

I'm not entirely sure, I tried various different earphones but none of them would show as an input device BUT they do show as an input device on Linux (I have dual booted Manjaro with Windows) so I'm fairly certain it's a problem with Windows itself.

Have you checked these then :

Normal I would say that the Driver on th eNotebook's manufacturer's page is the best place to start and then try/ask on threads like

Yes, my microphone is already enabled.
The driver from Acer's website is the Realtek one and it doesn't even show headphones as an input or output device, it just shows Realtek HD Audio, that's it.

Maybe as a work around you could use a Y spliter. Where you plug in your headphones into it and the other ends will go in your mic and earphone ports on your pc/laptop. Yes i understand they are combo ports but i'm just suggesting this as a workaround till you can find drivers that makes the combo port work correctly.
Here is the cable i was talking about. You don't have to use it but just a suggestion as a workaround and as a last resort.
