    And totally appreciate it and the time he takes to fetch the drivers, and make any changes to the installer and inf's needed.
    The only one I have tried and succeeded at was for intel's firmware management engine, and that was hard to figure out even with the instructions.

    True.
    Both the Intel ME and the RST (Rapid Storage Technology) are tricky. AHCI mode RAID mode....
    So I've decided to let Windows Update to take care of their updates.

    Yeah I know! Great loss!
    I've spent a lot of time, testing RST drivers and Plato (a very knowledgeable Greek guy) along with Dieter (the forum starter, retired a couple of years now) had helped a lot.
