Internal computer speakers disappeared

Hi there

Suddenly my internal computer speakers disappeared, I've tried to google my way out of this but nothing

I'm on a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10

The speakers don't even pop up on Device Manager

What happened and how can i fix it?

From your screenshots, it looks like the PC sound driver is missing. Go to the Lenovo downloads for your PC and download and install the sound driver. You didn't specific the Lenovo model number so I can't link you to the driver. It may very well be Realtek as that is the most often used PC sound.

Hi, my model number is L340-15IRH

I downloaded this driver: laptops and netbooks :: ideapad l series laptop :: l340 15irh gaming :: 81lk - Lenovo Support IS
And then restarted but it didn't fix it

Any other ideas?

Set "Speakers (Realtek) as the output device.

It didn't give me that option, it disappeared in every selections

What fixed it was doing a System Restore
