My built in headset mic is not working on my laptop but my built in laptop mic is working how do i get my headset mic working because it is not detecting it? my headset is this one.

Hardware Troubleshooter
Run the Hardware troubleshooter. This checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device[s] or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly.
[1] Goto Control Panel.
[2] Type Troubleshooting in the search box.
[3] Click on Hardware and sound under Troubleshoot computer problems.
[4] Click on Hardware and devices under Devices.
[5] Click on Advanced on the Hardware and devices dialog box, select Run as administrator.
[6] Click Next [ follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter ].
[7] Try the device again.

You could also try this . . .
Change Default Audio Device . . .
[1] Open Settings.
[2] Goto System --> Sound.
[3] Under Sound, click the Choose your output device drop down menu [ right-hand side ].
[4] Select the required output device from the drop down list.
[5] You might need to restart the App [ like audio players ] for the change to be implemented.
