Can't Get Audio Interface Reinstalled Windows 10

I was having a slight latency issue inside Studio One 4.6 Pro and I decided to adjust the Block Size and the second I clicked the mouse Windows crashed. I restarted and tried one more time and same thing. I decided to uninstall my interface and reinstall it (Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen) and try again. Since then nothing has worked when I attempt to reinstall it. I've done everything I can think of.

I've uninstalled the Focusrite USB device in apps, rebooted, installed, rebooted and many other ways of approaching it but I get the same result. I will post several screenshots below of issues. The one thing that really seems odd out of all of this is when you look at the driver details after it is "installed" it is a Microsoft driver not a Focusrite ASIO driver. I've tried using the focusrite firmware update app but it says nothings installed. If I click the Focusrite Device Settings icon in the programs menu you it does nothing. This is really annoying. Before reformatting my laptop I've put in a support ticket with Focusrite and I submit this problem to you good people for some interface enlightenment.

    Suggestions?

I'm not sure how you're attempting to install the drivers, but I would try manually installing.

    Download the drivers from Focusrite.

In Device Manager, right-click on the device and select Properties

Click on the Driver tab and select Update Driver

Click Browse my computer for driver software

Click Let me pick from an available list of drivers on my computer

Click Have Disk and then Browse to the path where you saved the Focusrite drivers.

I'm using a Scarlett 2i4 first gen with driver "Focusrite USB 4.65.5.658.exe", on Windows 10 LTSC 1809 and it's working fine. I would remove/uninstall your old driver and all instances of the Focusrite stuff from the device manager (with "View > Show Hidden Devices"), physically unplug the device, reboot.

Then install the driver package (before plugging it in, always), reboot, plug it back in and....?

If that doesn't work (assuming you don't have some other stuff installed that would interfere), it would seem the device has failed.

I'm using a Scarlett 2i2 and I noticed the other day that my old drivers were knocked out by the upgrade to Windows version 2004. I downloaded the new drivers from Focusrite's website and just ran the installer.

No muss, no fuss, and I now have a working 2i2 again. Not sure why it isn't working for you, but the installer is probably the easiest way to go with it.

Possibly, it might be as Quexos said, your 2i2 might be malfunctioning.
