Stealth Gaming Headset Microphone isn't being detected/not working

Hi, a bit of a long story, so my computer is currently "9" years old, and it was a Windows 7 Home Premium. however, I got it updated to Windows 10 last year (I used a PC mechanic). It still has the old "HD Audio Deck", so it doesn't have a "Realtek Audio Deck". The thing is, my headset mic doesn't work and I don't know why. My first guess is because it needs the Realtek Audio Deck, aka an updated motherboard and/or CPU. Now I did buy a cable splitter, so that's out of the question, and I've tried updating what I've thought to be my headset microphone's driver to a Realtek one since the old one was 9 years old.
Of course it's not muted in any way shape or form, however when I test my headset's mic on Discord, It only picks up what's coming through my headphones. It doesn't pick up my voice at all.
I've contacted support and they reckon it's faulty, but I think it's just that my PC is too old for the tech, and I don't know how to fix that.
If someone could tell me if my PC is recognizing my headset's microphone at all that would be great.
Here's an image of the "Recording" sound settings (the middle one)

    Windows Version Number: 1903

What is the make and model# of your computer?
When you say PC Mechanic, are you talking about the software with that name? Or a person that fixes computers? We don't suggest using the software.
Press the Windows key+X and choose Device Manager, are there any yellow flags next to devices? If so, right click it and Uninstall it. Unplug the USB Headset and restart the computer. When the computer comes back to the desktop, plug in the USB cable, it should recognize the Headset.
In the Device Manager, if there is a Yellow Flag under High Definition Audio, then go to your Computer or Motherboard manufacturers drivers site, type in your model # and download the Audio Driver for your model.

Apart from the first screenshot, I don't know how to get the make and model of my PC, and by PC mechanic I mean the shop that fixes PCs. There are no yellow flags next to anything, I've opened every single tab in System Information but no yellow flags. As I stated in my last post, the headset's support told me that it could be faulty. If I got a new headset would it make a difference since my PC is so old?

Have you set the privacy setting to allow discord to use the microphone?

I usually use my webcam for my mic, and I use that for discord calls all of the time, so yes the settings are always on.
