Speakers not working while bluetooth headphones are connected

I would try to fix the problem.

Run the Troubleshooter for Bluetooth.

Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

In the Find and fix other problems section, select Bluetooth.

There is something that I just thought of. I am picking audio for my speakers from the monitor audio as my PC connects to my monitor via HDMI. I have my speakers connected to the audio out on my monitor through an audio switch that I can turn off the audio path to my speakers while using headphones. I will reroute the audio input to the switch to the PC sound card directly. I think this may fix the problem. I just hope the cable are long enough to reach. I do have an extension somewhere if I can find it.

Still going to work the same way if you connect your headphones the speakers will be disabled
