    windows 10 voice recorder use

Hello, My name is Abul. I am new to the forum. I am not a computer geek and will greatly appreciate help in the simplest language.

I am using windows 10 voice recorder. I can record and save. I can open a recording section. My question is the following: Let's say I have a 1 minute recording. I have not saved it yet. Can I listen to my recording from the beginning or from anywhere in the 1 minute recording, in order to delete a part of it or add something before continuing beyond my 1 minute recording? If the system allows it, how should I execute it?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I've never been satisfied with the Windows Recorder. This might be a situation to recommend a third-party software. Sometime ago I got Total Recorder, can be set to record anything heard in the speakers/headphones, can replay without saving, can 'crop' sounds and probably more than I've needed.

    Hi Berton,

Thanks so much for your suggestion. I will check into the Total Recorder option.

You may be able to play back a preview of a file in use but, I doubt you'll be able to manipulate the file while in use, unless the software saves a temp file while in use.
