How do I uninstall/remove Windows Sonic completely?

Since latest may update every time I open any game it switches from dolby atmos to windows sonic and I have to exit the game and switch again to dolby atmos, it happens only at the first launch of any game.
I tried reinstalling drivers, deleting dolby atmos and use DTS but it still happens, so problem is windows, not spatial sounds. Is there any way to remove windows sonic via registry ?

    Hello @ivor,

    Revo Uninstaller

I find that when uninstalling software, Revo Uninstaller [ FREE ] is excellent. It has an option to scan for leftover items after the initial uninstall [ using the softwares own uninstall process if one exists ] using an Advanced Scan option. Thoroughly look through the items that are checked to be deleted BEFORE deleting them!

    I hope this helps!

You can't really Uninstall it as it is a part of Windows, but you can Disable it Enable Spatial Sound for Headphones in Windows 10

I can disable spatial sound, I know that. Maybe I didn't describe issue good enough, thing is I bought Dolby Atmos from windows store and sound in games and when watching movies is amazing with it, windows sonic sounds terrible on the other hand and now since last major update every time i open a game it keeps switching to windows sonic, if i change back to Dolby Atmos while in the game then I don't have any sound at all until i restart game. So every time I start a game I need to exit, switch to Dolby Atmos, open a game second time and it works fine, this issue only happens after restarting my pc, for some reason after I change it back manually, windows "learn" whats my default setting and its fine until I reset or power up my pc next day then its all over again. I tried with different audio devices, different games, reinstalling software, drivers but nothing helps.

I understood you perfectly. I hope you understood me? You can't Uninstall it. But you can Disable it so it will not come up as a choice when you start a game, please read the link.

You can't disable specific spatial sound, you can only disable them ALL, thats why am I asking here, i have Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos listed under spatial sound option. There is no way to disable Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos is possible to be uninstalled because its an app, I dont want to disable spatial sound because then I cant choose Dolby Atmos. I was hoping for some registry tweak since its integrated in windows

I had to check out what Dolby Atmos is. I found it......then checking the reviews on it, it's a 50/50 on reviews and seems to be buggy. You might want to use the Feed Back Hub and report the issue and see what others have done. There might be a work around for it there.
